Jun-i x Surfrider

That our oceans are in danger is no surprise anymore as we are becoming more and more aware of the damages we are causing it. With an estimate of 12,7 million tonnes of plastic ending up in our oceans every year, it is time to action.

For our previous collection Get Lost, we committed ourselves to donate a portion of all profit to the NGO Surfrider, which we think are doing an amazing job to help cleaning up our seas.

Our ocean faces growing challenges from pollution, offshore development and climate change. At the same time, expanding industries, such as offshore oil drilling, threaten to crowd our ocean and degrade its health (and those who call it home!).

Surfrider is built by a network of volunteers, who are as passionate about the ocean as we are. Their national network of chapter volunteers serves as the first response to local threats in coastal communities across the US. They are the boots on the ground who collaborate on both the local and national level with regional staff and issue experts to carry out our mission through campaign, program and educational initiatives in their local communities.
